Biography
Dr. Gavin Williamson received his Ph.D. in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Organizations from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Williamson’s research interests include entrepreneurial careers and startup employment. To date, his work has been published in such journals as Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice and Human Resource Management Review, and he teaches entrepreneurship courses here at Rowan. Prior to starting in academia, Dr. Williamson’s experiences with entrepreneurship include working as a self-employed test prep coach and as an early employee of a startup.
