Undergraduate Programs
The School of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (SIE) encourages students to rapidly adapt, thrive and understand how global, economic, social, political and environmental events and problems will impact emerging enterprises. SIE's academic programs offer flexible learning and course delivery, with both in-person and online formats available. The education that our students receive extends well beyond the classroom. The program is experiential by design and includes both challenged-based and project-based learning opportunities, allowing students to work with clients such as BDO Seidman, Microsoft, and the Federal Aviation Administration to gain real world experience while in the classroom.
Each entrepreneurship core class challenges students to engage in the greater entrepreneurial community, whether it be through interviewing entrepreneurs, pitching their ideas to the community, networking at industry events or developing other professional skills. In addition, the Rowan Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (RCIE), housed within the SIE, runs Studio 231, an experiential learning laboratory and makerspace, which is formally integrated into the entrepreneurship curriculum, and Creatives 230, an experiential learning lab blending creative arts with entrepreneurship.
