A Carnegie-classified national doctoral research institution, Rowan University focuses on applied research, solving real-world problems that affect everyone. The School of Innovation & Entrepreneurship supports several key entrepreneurship research programs and initiatives, including:

• A plethora of published work contributing to our collective understanding of the phenomena of entrepreneurship and the role and importance of entrepreneurship education.
• A strong Researcher-in-Residence program which brings some of the world's best scholars to campus to share best practices and stimulate new ideas.
• A growing network of entrepreneurship research fellows that help expand, enrich, and diversify the types of research produced by our faculty. 
• A deliberate, collaborative effort to advance knowledge and theory around family businesses given its prevalence here in South Jersey.
